For over 30 years we have been producing special ENJO fibre products for a wide range of surfaces and types of dirt. We use high-quality, environmentally friendly raw materials, our production is climate friendly and used fibre products are recycled. We work with local suppliers, ship and rail our products wherever possible and take responsibility for the environment with our zero-waste system. More and more customers around the world are saving litres of detergent and waste every year with ENJO.

IT ALL BEGAN WITH AN INGENIOUS IDEA

The story of ENJO begins with a moment of observation – and an extraordinary idea. In the spring of 1985, Friedrich Engl, an inventor and tinkerer from Vorarlberg, Austria, witnessed an oil spill on Lake Constance. Watching the fire brigade struggle to remove the oily sludge inspired him to search for his own solution. At home, he began experimenting – with the goal of filtering oil from water. In the process, he discovered a fiber with remarkable properties: it cleaned deep into the pores – without the use of any chemicals, only with water. The ENJOtex fiber was born. From this discovery, an innovative cleaning concept emerged and quickly evolved.

In 1990, ENJO was officially founded with the aim of promoting this revolutionary method and rethinking cleaning – in a sustainable, efficient, and environmentally friendly way.

In 2024, ENJO was reorganised: long-standing Kufstein partners Renate and Walter Grießer took over the management and founded ENJO GmbH. They are consistently carrying forward the original vision – cleaning with pure water, without chemicals, for the benefit of people and the environment.

With Helios we support projects all over the world, like building houses and supporting school children with mattresses and fresh fruit.

Allergy, skin and asthma association Finland

ENJO co-operates with the Finnish Allergy, Skin and Asthma Association. Our products do not cause allergic and asthmatic reactions.
