Our ENJOtex Products have been awarded the worldwide respected OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and OEKO-TEX® STeP certificate. These two certificates confirm that our products are not only safe to use and of high quality, but are also handcrafted in a socially responsible and climate friendly way.

What is OEKO-TEX®?

OEKO-TEX® is a globally recognised and respected testing and certification system for textiles. The International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile Ecology (OEKO-TEX®), based in Zurich, Switzerland, is the publisher of the globally harmonised standards. ENJO is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified since 2013

ENJO textile products have been certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 since 2013. This certification is regularly reviewed and we are proud to have continuously met the very high quality standards for many years.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety.

To obtain this certification, all components of our ENJOtex products are tested, including all threads, elastics, press studs, etc. The tests are carried out by independent OEKO-TEX® institutes.

2023: ENJO additionally certified for OEKO-TEX® STeP

Over the last few years, OEKO-TEX® has developed to cover many different standards for quality testing of various topics in the textile sector. To underline the high quality of our products, we have now also been certified for OEKO-TEX® STeP, in addition to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. The OEKO-TEX® STeP certificate was introduced in 2023 and we are one of the 4 companies in Vorarlberg and the first 30 companies in Austria to be awarded this distinction. There are only 1,000 companies worldwide that have qualified for OEKO-TEX® STeP.

OEKO-TEX® STeP stands for Sustainable Textile & Leather Production. It is a holistic system for analysing and evaluating sustainable production conditions and standards such as environmentally friendly processes and socially responsible working conditions. In the course of this certification, ENJO’s environmental management and social responsibility were examined. We are pleased to meet the high requirements of OEKO-TEX® STeP.
