Temporary Bookkeeper Role 
We are looking for a trustworthy person with great attention to detail who can plan and organise their work effectively, ensuring they meet deadlines.  The successful candidate should enjoy working in a team environment. The contract is for 6 months, working 5 hours per week based in our Head Office in Harpenden


Whilst the role can be school hours, the successful candidate must be able to work school holidays, although we are willing to discuss a degree of flexibility.

The successful candidate will need to work from the office in Harpenden.


The role will involve:

  • Using Quickbooks bookkeeping software;

  • Processing sales journals and invoices;

  • Processing all supplier and expense payments;

  • Reconciliation of bank statements, credit cards and consultant ledger;

  • Maintaining and reconciling petty cash;

  • Enter payroll  on QB  (payroll is outsourced);

  • Preparing VAT returns;

  • Preparation of management reports;

  • Other general bookkeeping and admin related tasks.
